Omar’s 23 year career path has been focused on business development with various organizations, having spent the bulk of his time on both hotel development and hotel operations in both Jordan and Ethiopia. Currently he is the Tourism Sector lead and the Deputy Head at the newly established Delivery Unit at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, focusing on strategic development of key priority sectors integral for Aqabas economic growth and sustainability.
